What do we mean by Bhagavad Gita the war within

Bhagavad Gita, some called it philosophy of life others a sermon given by Lord Krishna to Arjuna in the battlefield of Mahabharata but for me Bhagavad Gita has always been a theme indulging in which I successfully reached portals of gods, state of self realization in my lifetime.

Bhagavad Gita truly is all about the war within between positive and negative forces of nature. At any given moment of life lots of positive and also negative thoughts passed through our brain. As per Lord Krishna a battle ensues all the time between these two positive and negative forces of nature. Sometimes the positives win and at other times negatives.

When the negatives won human beings behaved almost like animals, lower forms of life. Mounted with positivity human beings and all the time behaved godly. Between these two extremes of character, the flow of thoughts we as a human being were sandwiched. How to come out of this jargon successfully is what, teachings of Bhagavad Gita all about.

Bhagavad Gita tells us all the time to indulge in positivity but when negativity bared its fangs, we must tackle it head-on and never behave like a coward as did Arjuna when fighting the Kauravas.

There is a story in Hinduism about Samudra Manthan. This story about churning the ocean directly relates to human intellect. When positive forces, positive thoughts within us clashed with negative thoughts both elixir of life (Amrita) and Vish (poison) was generated. Seekers drank both because it was not possible to throw anything out. Everything had to be borne by the body.

Seekers, travelers of spiritual path directed Amrita towards awakening of kundalini shakti, the coiled Serpentine energy lying dormant in base of spine. And Vish was held in the neck, prime reason why body of both Shiva and Krishna are shown dark blue in color. The serpents in the neck of Shiva spiritually represent the activating kundalini shakti within human beings.

Seekers never abused one or the other. By transmuting Amrita towards the only goal of life, state of self realization seekers finally succeeded in full awakening of kundalini shakti.

And how all this was done is guided by teachings of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita. At every step of spiritual pursuit, teachings of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita render great help. In absence of teachings of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita one could never reach state of enlightenment, become a pure soul atman in the cosmic journey of life.

Without thinking twice about whether war of Mahabharata took place or not, whether Krishna existed of not, a true seeker must always indulge in teachings of Bhagavad Gita to seek enlightenment, the end goal of life. To cut darkness of ignorance, jnana wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita comes to rescue of mankind at each and every step of spirituality.

Bhagavad Gita, all the 700 shlokas verses contained within were more than only a philosophy. Indulging in Bhagavad Gita any human being world over belonging to any religion, faith or belief can ceremoniously indulge in teachings of Bhagavad Gita to reach state of enlightenment and finally moksha salvation. There was no other scripture in entire world that guided humanity towards state of enlightenment, permanent release from cycle of birth and death forever.

When the Amrita (Alistair of life) lying in the base of spine reaches Ajna chakra, Sahasra Pushpa (thousand petalled Lotus) existing in brain behind forehead opens fully. One immediately reaches state of enlightenment… becoming a Jina, a bodhi, a Mahavira forever.

Everything contained in Bhagavad Gita was an analogy to explain deeper hidden cosmic precepts of life which could only be understood indulging in contemplation (chintan). Nothing in Bhagavad Gita becomes clear literally. We have to undertake inner journey, indulge in contemplation all the time to arrest flow of negative thoughts to our brain in totality. Only then we succeed overpowering five senses and mind forever.

Enlightenment was all about removal of dross impurities within our soul atman in totality. In absence of dross impurities within need for a soul atman to manifest human body any further ceases to exist. One finally becomes a pure soul atman in the cosmic journey of life, regaining lost pure prime pristine primordial form forever.
