Hinduism scriptures say believe in presence of soul atman, consciousness in our heart. Once we believed in existence of world of souls’ atmans, the underlying crux of death becomes absolutely transparent and clear. Death of the body does not mean end of cosmic life cycle. As per Hinduism sacred texts the journey of life belongs to our soul atman, spirit existing in heart and not the manifest physical body.
Hinduism further says every soul atman in its cosmic life cycle manifests a chain of bodies to cleanse itself of dross impurities within. For this to happen, death of mortal body was immanent. Something that was ephemeral has to perish one day. The human body as per Hinduism scriptures had an average lifespan of 100 years. After death of mortal body the released soul atman again manifests a new body to start new journey of life.
This cycle of birth and death continues unabated uninterruptedly until a soul atman reaches state of absolute purity. For a pure soul atman in absence of dross impurities within, the need to manifest a new body ceases to exist. The journey of human life, the journey of soul atman within finally came to an end when indulging in Indian spirituality human beings succeeded reaching state of enlightenment becoming an enlightened one forever.
Doctrines of reincarnation rebirth were integral to Hinduism scriptures which promote continuity of life in cosmic system. This continuity breaks the moment when human beings indulging in spirituality negate karma to zero. Karma is necessitated as long as dross impurities within soul atman remain. Journey of spirituality demands human beings negating their karma to zero forever. Only then one could establish absolute control over five senses and mind.
Death as per Hinduism scriptures was as simple as changing of guards at Buckingham Palace, a ritual a daily routine. After death of mortal body based on residual balance of karma at the time of death the soul atman chooses a new body. Everything happened automatically. Only if matching parents were not available on mother earth the soul atman hibernated in heaven or hell (swarga or naraka in Hinduism)
For example if a human being was destined to live 84 years of age but accidental injury causes death at 64. In the cosmic domain nothing much happened. The released soul atman would again manifest a body only for 20 years of life. When this child 20 years of age succumbs to death, people on mother earth would wonder what happened and blame God Almighty? In the cosmic crux of life it was a routine matter.
Hinduism scriptures further say that human beings must always indulge in positivity good karma to manifest a better life in next manifestation. Such happenings are rarely witnessed in India. But I have minutely observed in United States of America and also major parts of Europe that human beings lived as dictated by Bhagavad Gita. Most indulged in truthfulness, good karma to manifest a good present that would ultimately lead to a good life in next manifestation also.
People in West inherently followed teachings of Bhagavad Gita all the time though knowing nothing about Bhagavad Gita. They lived life as was meant to be by God. On the contrary in India people had many faces, many facets of their life. What they preached did not themselves follow. Though teachings of Bhagavad Gita belonged to India (erstwhile Bharatvarsha) but very few followed the dictates of Gita in toto.
As a human being one should not worry about death that was immanent, bound to come. As the cosmic system is directly governed by inscrutable laws of karma and evolution, it is in our interest that we indulged in good karma positive karma most of time.
Hinduism sacred texts further say that immortality belonged to consciousness within and never the manifest physical human form. Something that was not immortal would always die. This simply means the present earthly form is limited to only one life, the present. Instead of waiting for a miracle to happen we must concentrate on our part of karma.
Sacred texts of Hinduism also say the goal of life for all souls’ atmans was different, independent of each other. In the circumstances after death of mortal body where was the question of weeping and whining. Something that was not in our control, something that lay in domain of god and something that was not created by us how could we weep over the same. The bodily loss sometimes brings lot of anxiety. Imagine a situation when the elder of the family suddenly dies but we cannot deny the fact that everything resulted from karma indulged in past lives.
In all circumstances of life Bhagavad Gita says we must learn to balance self. The best of all as per Bhagavad Gita is indulging in spirituality to reach state of enlightenment. The moment one becomes an enlightened one, the cosmic journey of life comes to an end. No more plunging into cycle of birth and death the soul atman after gaining total purity finally enters moksha salvation, rejoins with God Almighty (Brahman) forever.
What use indulging in religious practices (rituals) that keep human beings rotating in cycle of birth and death forever?
I started in search of God six years of age. Around nine years of age I finally decided to end the endless rotation in the cycle of birth and death. I inherently started following the teachings of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita. Indulging in literature relating to Maharshi Ramana I started duplicating path taken by him indulging in self enquiry, Neti (not this, not this) most of time. 31 years of indulgence in spiritual scriptures I finally landed self in laps of God Almighty, reaching state of self realization god realization forever. This is my last manifestation on mother earth.
