Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita says teachings of spirituality contained in Bhagavad Gita must never be imparted to an ignorant, one not interested in spirituality or those feigning ignorance.
Kundalini awakening forms part of spiritual journey. It should never be attempted by one not interested in reaching God in ones lifetime.
When a bud starts blooming into a flower, the process could not be stopped by anyone. Similar is the case of kundalini awakening. Once it starts activating there was no method to revert back. Yes, we can minimize further activation of kundalini.
Our kundalini activated only when we indulged in spiritual activities like contemplation, practice of celibacy etc. Even when we were 100% truthful, the kundalini activated. By controlling our truthfulness, practice of contemplation and celibacy we can retard activation of kundalini.
Due to partial kundalini awakening whatever dormant lying portions of brain activated, it could not be reversed. Everything in field of kundalini awakening, spiritual progress was permanent.
When indulging in path of spirituality, kundalini awakening we must go by advise of Lord Krishna.
So many people world over were serious patients of depression as they quit spiritual path midway. Why indulge at all if we could not complete spiritual journey in present life time!
Seekers going after fruits of karma indulged were wrong. On path of pure spirituality we have to work like a trustee, a caretaker for whom everything all the time belonged to God Almighty. In our case fruits of karma always belonged to spirit, consciousness soul atman existing in our heart.
The primary cause of all depression is we did not get expected results. The foremost requirement of spiritual journey is demolition of desires and wishes in totality. For reaching state of Nirvikalpa samadhi (absolute nothingness) when not a single thought entered our brain uninvoked, we had to gradually reduce desires and wishes to zero, only then we could overpower five senses and mind.
