If we think we can become a spiritual person we are wrong. In fact we are a spiritual traveler, a spiritual being from the very beginning of life. We failed to realize our true identity due to presence of ego. By demolishing our ego in totality spiritual travelers finally become a pure soul atman.
As detailed in Bhagavad Gita we are primarily a spiritual person from within, prime reason why spiritual journey is called inner journey towards spirit, consciousness existing in our heart as our soul atman.
Indulging in spirituality all the time, overpowering five senses and mind, awakening kundalini shakti in totality seekers, travelers of spiritual path finally reached god.
This happens in reality when we separated religion from spirituality as indulging in religious practices (rituals) one never gains anything in life. If we seriously desire becoming a spiritual traveler we must bear in mind that spiritual journey was never a part-time job.
Mahavira, Gautama Buddha even Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed dedicated themselves to path of spirituality at a very young age. To realize everything spiritually we must indulge in contemplation (chintan) most of time. Only then we can realize the spark of divinity within.
Remaining truthful all the time we could distinctly hear voice of our soul atman coming from within our heart. Right from six years of age I have done it all my life. In my spiritual pursuit of life my soul atman, the spirit existing in heart finally became my guide, mentor helping me at each and every stage of spiritual life.
On path of pure spirituality we never needed an external mentor, guru as preached by most so-called spiritual teachers gurus spread all over the world. Everything in the field of spirituality always comes from within.
