Has anyone ever achieved Moksha as described in Hindu Scriptures

Not one but hundreds of spiritual travelers in India achieved moksha, reached state of moksha salvation as described in Hindu scriptures.

Prominent amongst them were Mahavira (24th Tirthankara of Jainism, preceptor), Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed.

Until 23rd Tirthankaras of Jainism, the spiritual wisdom gained by them remained limited to their individual self but in times of Mahavira it percolated to the masses, prime reason why Jainism actually started from times of Mahavira. As Lord Krishna advent about 1000 years earlier to Mahavira, most of the teachings of Mahavira are crowded with teachings of Bhagavad Gita.

All the wisdom Gautama Buddha gained was while in India (erstwhile Bharatvarsha).

Jesus Christ came to India during the missing years in his life (age 14 to 29). During this time he seriously indulged in teachings of Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads (independent spiritual treatises) and also Vedas (Hinduism revelations, the first words of God to mankind).

Prophet Mohammed belonged to a region Persia that had its boundaries touching erstwhile Bharatvarsha (now India). All the jnana wisdom of Prophet Mohammed is owed to Taxila University the ruins of which in present times lay in Pakistan.

Apart from the above four spiritual stalwarts, many seekers gained enlightenment during mediaeval age like Tukaram, Eknath, Namdev, Dnyaneshwar, Chaitanya Mahaprabhu, the list is long. Apart from these Adi Shankaracharya and in recent times Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharshi Ramana. Next in chain is Swami Vivekananda to follow.

In my spiritual travail from six years of age I primarily followed three persons… Lord Krishna, Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharshi Ramana! These enlightened souls do not exist in flesh, but would always continue to exist through their literature until eternity.
