Does Bhagavad Gita say there is a God

Bhagavad Gita not only says there is a God but it also confirms that other than God nothing existed in cosmos. We as human beings exist because souls’ atmans exist and souls’ atmans existed because God Almighty, Brahman exists.

The existence of God in present cosmos cannot be denied. Similar as we can feel presence of a flower by its fragrance, we can also feel presence of God in day-to-day affairs of life.

As per Bhagavad Gita the present cosmos came into being when God Almighty, Brahman exploded self with a big bang. This resulted in all pure souls’ atmans scattering all over cosmos at unimaginable speeds. In the melee, hurtling souls’ atmans gathered impurities. To cleanse itself of dross impurities within starts cosmic life cycle of every soul atman.

If an individual grain of sand is an independent soul atman, the whole mound God Almighty. If an individual piece of puzzle is an independent soul atman, the completed puzzle God Almighty.

Adi Shankaracharya in his doctrine of Advaita Vedanta proves beyond doubt that other than God Almighty nothing existed in cosmos. As per Adi Shankaracharya the whole cosmos is made up of basic building block of cosmos, clusters of atoms and molecules. When perceived from senses point of view all appeared solid, in reality all was gaseous formation.

Furthermore Adi Shankaracharya says the present cosmos exists only in thoughts of God Almighty similar as the image in the mirror although appears real but did not exist.

If we presume the present cosmos exists then what beyond the boundary. As the present cosmos seems endless without a boundary it just could not exist.

To better understand God and his system one must indulge in teachings of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita, foremost of all scriptural texts available in world.
