For those indulging in spirituality excepting Krishna as a teacher is ideal. Reason being, there was nothing nobler than teachings of spirituality contained in Bhagavad Gita.
All the 700 shlokas verses contained in Bhagavad Gita were full of jnana wisdom needed to realize self, realize god in our lifetime.
Allegorically Krishna represents the spirit, consciousness existing in our heart as soul atman.
Becoming 100% truthful we could easily hear the voice, promptings of soul atman coming from within our heart. I have done it all my life from six years of age.
When very young, I totally believed in nuances of Lord Krishna when he was a child. I became a pupil of Krishna for his teachings of Bhagavad Gita. Everything contained in Bhagavad Gita was so pure that it represented truth and only truth.
I somehow felt from within that if I followed teachings of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita, I could emancipate self from cycle of birth and death becoming a pure soul atman at the end of journey. I was proved right in my surmise. Nothing bettered Bhagavad Gita in entire world.
Those living in India, followers of Hinduism religion are lucky for the jnana wisdom of Bhagavad Gita available to them whole time. A knower of Sanskrit and Hindi finds it easier to indulge in Bhagavad Gita. In present times commentaries on Bhagavad Gita in English are also available.
On path of pure spirituality Krishna as a teacher tells us to have absolute faith in God, believe in system of God and world of souls’ atmans. Only then we could demolish our ego in totality. Simultaneously practicing absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation seekers can fully awaken kundalini shakti, the coiled Serpentine energy lying dormant in the base of spine.
In absence of teachings of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita nothing worthwhile could be achieved in the field of spirituality. It is my absolute belief in Krishna, God and his system that I finally succeeded in reaching God in my lifetime 37 years of age.
Lord Krishna was a teacher only for travelers of spiritual path, as contents of Bhagavad Gita dealt with spirituality not religion (path of rituals).
