When we extracted one KG of pure gold from a lump of hundred KG of gold ore what do we do! We initially crushed the entire lump into small pieces then passed it through running water. This removed all the dirt within and hundred KG lump of gold now reduces to 79 KG in all. And what does this mean? One KG of pure gold existing in 79 KG of gold ore, 21 KG of impurities removed.
At each and every stage of cleaning either the ore is burnt to extract gold ore passed through other mining machinery and processes. In all eventualities if the gold ore was a human being, when passing through red hot oven one would experience excruciating sufferings galore. To cleanse self of dross impurities within, to regain our lost original pure prime pristine primordial form, as a soul atman we had to pass through chain of sufferings.
That was how life evolved in cosmic system, through series of sufferings and happiness.
For a normal human being what we called suffering was normal for a seeker, spiritual traveler. The feeling of pain is much more in a human being guided by ego compared to those guided by Lord Krishna within. Lord Krishna is the soul atman, spirit existing in our heart. It is this Lord Krishna that desires liberation from cycle of birth and death forever.
Indulging in spirituality as described in Bhagavad Gita human beings can easily reach state of self realization without thinking much of the sufferings on the way.
In my search for truth, my journey towards God I do not remember how many times I had to eat hell for breakfast, how many contemplations of suicide!
