Moksha in Bhagavad Gita


State of moksha in Bhagavad Gita has been described as a stage in life of human beings when after gaining enlightenment the enlightened one leaves the mortal frame forever. Enlightenment announces liberation from cycle of birth and death for soul atman within.

 

Indulging in spirituality as detailed in Bhagavad Gita when human beings succeed reaching state of self realization, god realization it announced end of cosmic journey for soul atman forever. Self realization announces in absence of dross impurities within, the need for a soul atman to manifest a new body ceases to exist.

 

Having gained enlightenment, state of moksha salvation is automatically reached.

 

Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita says the ultimate goal of life for all human beings on mother earth is reaching state of enlightenment followed by moksha salvation.

 

For a human being there was nothing nobler than indulging in spirituality. This was not the goal of manifest physical human life but of spirit, consciousness existing in our heart.

 

Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita further says human beings on mother earth must initially learn to distinguish religion from spirituality and then travel path of spirituality to reach God in their lifetime.

 

Permanent release from cycle of birth and death is definitely a noble task everyone would desire but how many people world over truly indulged in spirituality to gain enlightenment.

 

Bhagavad Gita demands one becoming a Swami Vivekananda in real life to indulge in spirituality. Enlightenment followed by moksha salvation is not that easily achieved. To understand intricacies of life contained in Bhagavad Gita our indulgence in contemplation (chintan) is an absolute must. Prime reason why most people world over hesitated indulging in spirituality!

 

Spiritual path can be sincerely and diligently travelled only by one who possesses and practices highest level of patience, persistence and perseverance possible in human form.

 

Bhagavad Gita of Hinduism is one such scripture following which human beings can easily reach state of enlightenment and finally moksha salvation in their lifetime. One need not refer to any other scriptural text. The gist of 700 shlokas verses contained in Bhagavad Gita can be realized through path of contemplation (chintan) only. We can do it if we burn all bridges behind.
