What is the moral of Bhagavad Gita

Bhagavad Gita was never about morality alone. Morality is only a part of spiritual life. For understanding Bhagavad Gita the first and foremost requirement is 100% faith in the existence of God, world of souls’ atmans. Anything less than 100% would not do.

Once we believed in God and his system then remaining 100% truthful we could follow guidelines of soul atman, the voice coming from within our heart. Those with a bloated ego failed to hear the sweet small promptings of soul atman coming from within our heart. Prime reason why spiritual travelers need demolishing their ego in totality!

Furthermore we need overpowering five senses and mind. This becomes possible when we reduced our desires and wishes in stages.

Awakening our kundalini shakti fully, human beings finally become an enlightened one forever.

The moral and essence of Bhagavad Gita lay in the fact that we are primarily a spirit, consciousness that manifested human form to cleanse self of dross impurities within. This becomes possible when we had 100% faith in God, practiced truthfulness 100% and simultaneously wished welfare of mankind all the time.

By wishing welfare of mankind it means indulging in karma with an unattached attitude. We have to live like a trustee, a caretaker for whom everything all the time belonged to God Almighty.

Spiritual path is meant only for those who can work for welfare of mankind at large all the time. Spiritual journey was never intended for individual self. If we indulged in teachings contained in Bhagavad Gita for our own individual benefit, we would get nothing out of it. Only when we indulged in Bhagavad Gita for welfare of mankind did we progress spiritually.

In all sincerity Bhagavad Gita is only meant for those who desired liberating self from cycle of birth and death forever. Otherwise we shall continue rotating endlessly in cycle of birth and death. And this cycle of life shall continue until we reach 8.4 millionth manifestation, last in cosmic life cycle. In the 8.4 millionth manifestation one automatically reaches state of enlightenment followed by moksha salvation.

Spiritual journey must always be indulged with caution as it is a one-sided journey.
