Yes humanity is presently passing through ghor Kali Yuga stage of life. Society is about to reach its logical end, a point of no return. When life truly becomes unbearable advents a messiah, savior an avatar to uplift mankind and place it on the highest pedestal of life.
It is not even a decade before which mankind would witness surfacing of Kalki avatar. We are presently passing through state of extreme strife, tribulation as was witnessed by Lord Krishna in Dwapar Yuga. At that time, occurred Mahabharata a battle of Dharma and in present times, mankind would again witness a renewed battle of Dharma (righteousness) to annihilate dark forces of nature that engulfed mankind in Kali Yuga.
If mankind has interpreted scriptures wrongly and say that end of Kali Yuga was more than 427000 years away, it proves that scriptural texts can never be interpreted by religious lens. Something anticipated to occur 427000 years later would occur before 10 years from now. There is a vast difference between anticipation and the actual occurring. As science advances and also the mental frame of human beings, the distance between anticipation and actual occurring reduces. So much so that end of Kali Yuga is within reach.
It is beyond doubt that present mankind would witness advent of Kalki avatar even before expiry of 10 years from now. The end of Kali Yuga would happen when nothing would be right world over. Both ethics and morality taking a back seat, it would finally culminate in a battle of Dharma. Ordinary mortals who exercised restraint until now would pick arms to re-establish Dharma under guidance of Kalki avatar. It is in such times democracy would be rightly practiced, for the people of the people by the people.
In our times we shall also witness start of Satyuga, the awaited golden period a time when spirituality takes a lead leaving religious practices (rituals) far behind.
