What Krishna says about life

Through his sermon of Bhagavad Gita Lord Krishna conveys to mankind that we had only one life to live, the present earthly domain. As the ultimate goal of life for all human beings is assisting soul atman within to reach cosmic end of life, 8.4 millionth manifestation… it becomes duty of human beings to indulge in spirituality to realize self, realize god in their lifetime.

As per Lord Krishna human beings just could not postpone spiritual journey for next manifestation.

Most human beings I have come across casually said that they had abandoned the plan of indulging in spirituality for next manifestation. As our soul atman, the spirit existing in heart is the ultimate master and controller of human body, based on residual balance of karma at the time of death it shall manifest a new body in next life. In the circumstances how could human beings take a guarantee of next life?

Something one could not achieve in present life time, how could one tell others that he would do it in next lifetime when there was no next lifetime! The present domain journey is limited to one life alone, the present sojourn of 70 to 80 years of earthly life.

Reaching state of self realization, god realization in one lifetime may seem difficult still; we can start the journey now. As gains on spiritual path were always permanent, at whatever level we leave in present manifestation, we could continue from the very same level in next manifestation. No doubt the body would be different but the soul atman inside would be same.

We are primarily a spiritual traveler, a spirit manifesting human form. We are the ultimate crux of life on mother earth.

The entire gist of Bhagavad Gita is all about indulging in spirituality to emancipate self from cycle of birth and death forever. In present times any human being world over could indulge in spirituality detailed in Bhagavad Gita to reach state of enlightenment.

What use living a religious life (indulging in rituals) that meant nothing on path of pure spirituality! Indulging in religious practices one never reaches god. God can only be realized by indulging in spiritual precepts contained in Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads (independent spiritual treatises).

Bhagavad Gita deals purely with spirituality and had nothing to do with religious aspect of life.

When six years of age I developed inkling to know God in this life time! Around nine years of age I formulated my goal of not going round and round in the endless cycles of birth and death. 31 years of indulgence in spiritual precepts of life, in the wee hours of third of August 1993 I finally realized self, realized god forever.

The moment I reached state of self realization everything contained in Bhagavad Gita and also Upanishads is like ABCD to me. There was nothing more left to be achieved by me. I had finally liberated self from cycle of birth and death forever. Moment I leave my mortal frame, I shall attain moksha salvation.

The best part of spirituality is its doors are open for one and all world over.

The original text of Bhagavad Gita containing 700 shlokas verses in Sanskrit with English transliteration is available for mere $1 from Gita press, Gorakhpur, India yet there are no takers. Reason being everything in sacred texts including Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads becomes clear only by indulging in contemplation (chintan) all the time. Literally we can understand nothing.

Almost from six years of age I mastered the delicate art of contemplation. Remaining an introvert of the highest order I indulged in chintan (contemplation) all the time.

My personal experience says there was nothing better than pursuing Bhagavad Gita in present life. Whatever little gain on path of spirituality there is, it is better than gaining nothing.
