How many people world over do we think succeeded in reaching state of moksha salvation every year? In the last about 150 years amongst 7 billion people existing world over only two spiritual stalwarts Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharshi Ramana finally succeeded in reaching state of enlightenment followed by moksha salvation.
Journey of spirituality leading to enlightenment and most salvation is not that easy to travel, prime reason why those indulging in Bhagavad Gita could never understand it. The gist of Bhagavad Gita can never be understood literally, it demands our indulgence in contemplation (chintan) all the time. Contemplation (chintan) is something from which everyone shied, do not know why?
A journey towards God could never be bad. If we go by statistics in India, all desire gaining moksha salvation but none wants to travel spiritual journey or indulge in Bhagavad Gita.
Mere lip talk does not gain anything. Indulging in religious practices all the time (rituals) also meant nothing on path of pure spirituality. We have to dive deep into the bottomless pit of wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita to reach the hidden pearls. This becomes possible only through chintan (contemplation) on 700 shlokas verses contained in Bhagavad Gita.
Spirituality was not only a full-time job it has to be started early in age. Mahavira, Gautama Buddha even Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed all started their pursuit of God early in life. On path of pure spirituality there was no place for commoners, masses who were too busy with day-to-day routines of life. Path of spirituality can be successfully followed only by, one possessing willpower exhibited by Swami Vivekananda.
Suicide is not related to path of spirituality at all. However indulgence in suicide pushes us back even in the normal journey of life. If we were born at karmic index of 47 then due to committing of suicide if God gives us a negative marking of -1 then in next manifestation by soul atman we would be born at karmic index of 46, a much lower level. In the next manifestation one would experience even greater sufferings than now.
