In yesteryears even Mahavira, Gautama Buddha Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed indulged in wisdom of Bhagavad Gita to reach state of enlightenment. Lord Krishna advent about 1000 years earlier to coming of Mahavira, about 1077 years earlier to coming of Gautama Buddha, about 1500 years earlier to coming of Jesus Christ and 2100 years earlier to Prophet Mohammed.
Jesus Christ came to India during his missing years (14 to 29) to indulge in wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita, Upanishads (spiritual independent treatises) and even Vedas (Hinduism revelations). Prophet Mohammed also belonged to Persia a region touching boundaries of erstwhile Bharatvarsha (now India). Both gained wisdom from Taxila University of yore the ruins of which presently lay in Pakistan.
Hinduism religion has so much to give to mankind yet there are no takers.
