After establishing absolute control over five senses and mind seekers finally succeed negating karma to zero. This is the state of self realization when in absence of dross impurities within a soul atman gains absolute purity forever.
After reaching stage of self-realization one becomes aware of the following realizations:
1. One becomes knower of all forever. Everything contained in Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads becomes like ABCD. The gist of all sacred texts becomes clear from within.
2. One becomes a Gudakesha, establishing total control over sleep.
3. One developed mental power to infinity.
4. Ones kundalini awakens fully 100%.
5. Ones brain opens fully 100%.
6. The power of perception increases manifold. It becomes difficult for mankind to cheat one.
7. Having become all powerful one still exercises restraint, compression love for mankind.
8. One can impart to mankind spiritual wisdom thus gained, following example of Mahavira.
9. One can interact with God Almighty Brahman on one-to-one basis.
10. One can interact with all enlightened ones that tread in the past.
11. One becomes a pure soul atman in the cosmic journey of life.
12. One finally reaches 8.4 millionth manifestation, last in cosmic life cycle.
13. Being last manifestation, one shall gain moksha salvation after leaving mortal frame.
14. One finally realizes that self realization, god realization, enlightenment, Atma jnana all meant the same.
15. One can alarmingly reduce food intake to minimum.
As most accomplishments on path of pure spirituality, self-realization were permanent, a self realized soul either quits the body after gaining enlightenment or keeps the body to impart to mankind the wisdom gained on spiritual journey.
For mankind it is difficult to recognize an enlightened one. The reality of life espouses itself only at opportune moment.
