Whose teachings are in Bhagavad Gita

All the 700 shlokas verses contained in Bhagavad Gita are compilation of sermon rendered to Arjuna by Lord Krishna, an avatar of Dwapar Yuga in the battle of Mahabharata.

The teachings of spirituality contained in Bhagavad Gita are priceless. Following the gist of Bhagavad Gita anyone with spiritual inclinations world over can follow spirituality to its logical end, become an enlightened one like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha even Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed.

If we say enlightened souls like Mahavira, Gautama Buddha even Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed are only meant for revering, praying to, worshipping, it is a great misnomer.

As per Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita every single human being has a spark of divinity within to become an enlightened one like Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa or Maharshi Ramana.

The teachings of Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita must be indulged with caution. Path of spirituality is always one-sided. Once started, the possibility of returning to normal mode of life was nil. If we had the capability exhibited by Swami Vivekananda we were the right candidate to indulge in spirituality explained in Bhagavad Gita to reach God in one’s lifetime.

Liberating self from cycle of birth and death forever is the ultimate goal of human life on mother earth. We can indulge right now or leave everything for future manifestations by soul atman.

We must not forget the present human form was manifested by soul atman, the spirit manifesting in our heart. Our soul atman is also the master and controller of human body. It is our soul atman that manifested human form to work out its karma, remove dross impurities within.

The human form is but a medium for soul atman to regain its lost original pure prime pristine primordial form. Depending on what we desire we can pursue our goal of life.

The teachings contained in Bhagavad Gita are as much applicable today as they were above 3650 years before when advent Lord Krishna. Nothing in Bhagavad Gita diluted with time.
