To pursue inner journey, journey towards our soul atman our following precepts of spirituality contained in Bhagavad Gita is an absolute must. Metaphorically Krishna is a spirit, soul atman existing in our heart.
Spiritually it is Krishna that manifested human form to work out its karma. To reach our Krishna within we have to follow precepts of spirituality never religion (path of rituals).

Having manifested human form, the goal of life of every single human being on mother earth becomes reaching Krishna within. It is Krishna within that seeks liberation from cycle of birth and death forever. As a human being we are only a medium to assist Krishna in reaching cosmic end of life. To realize Krishna within us, to reach state of self realization, god realization God Almighty ordained spiritual journey for human beings.
In its entire life cycle of 8.4 million manifestations the Krishna within manifests 1.1 million bodies in human form. To realize Krishna within we were never short of time yet, if we want to realize Krishna within this lifetime we have to indulge in teachings of Bhagavad Gita.
The total essence of all spiritual scriptural texts is human beings gaining emancipation from cycle of birth and death forever. Practicing truthfulness all the time when human beings indulged in spirituality it resulted in lessening of dross impurities within in stages. To reach our Krishna within, we have to negate karma to zero. This becomes possible when we succeed demolishing ego to zero.
As stated in Bhagavad Gita at a given moment of life either one could survive, our ego or voice of Krishna from within. Remaining truthful all the time we could distinctly hear promptings of Krishna coming from within. Guided by Krishna from within we could easily demolish our ego, finally establishing total control over five senses and mind.
Simultaneously practicing absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation we succeed awakening kundalini shakti fully.
The moment our kundalini reaches Ajna chakra, Sahasra Pushpa (thousand petalled Lotus) existing in our brain behind forehead opened fully. One immediately realizes Krishna, becomes an enlightened one forever.
