Why Spirituality is better than Religion

Spirituality has always been better than religion as it is only spirituality that leads human beings towards their source from where they emanated.

The human garb is only medium for soul atman within to cleanse itself of dross impurities within. In reality we are a cosmic traveler, spiritual being a soul atman undertaking cosmic journey.

From the time all souls atmans separated from their source Brahman, God Almighty they desire rejoining the source. This becomes possible when human beings indulged in spirituality to reach state of enlightenment and finally moksha salvation.

Religious practices (rituals) never truly gained anything in life. Simply by worshipping, praying to God one achieves nothing. Prayers, worship were necessitated in yesteryears when human brain had not yet evolved. The moment highly accomplished Sages and Rishis invoked direct messages from God called Vedas (Hinduism revelations), spirituality came into being.

Spirituality is the path to reaching God in our lifetime. Demolishing ego in stages, establishing control over five senses and mind, practicing absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation seekers, spiritual travelers finally succeed reaching state of enlightenment.

Enlightenment announces a soul atman reaching state of absolute purity. In absence of dross impurities within the need for a soul atman, the spirit to manifest human body any further ceases to exist. Moment an enlightened one leaves mortal frame one reaches state of moksha salvation.

The liberated soul atman finally enters abode of God (Vaikuntha in Hinduism). The circle of life finally completes. This is what Mahavira, Gautama Buddha even Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed achieves in their lifetime. Followed them Adi Shankaracharya, Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharshi Ramana.

There was nothing nobler than indulging in spirituality to reach God in our lifetime. A liberated soul atman finally merges with God forever, a perfect ending!
