How to get mental peace from Gita

Indulging in Bhagavad Gita is an inner journey towards our soul atman existing in heart. It involves awakening of dormant lying kundalini shakti and when that happens dormant lying portions of our brain activated. This sudden increased activity in brain results in severe headaches, migraine that were temporary but after some time there is a complete lull followed by experience of total ecstasy, state of absolute bliss, something that could never be expressed in words.

Every single spiritual experience, indulgence in Bhagavad Gita brings with it a state of total mental peace, calm beyond description of words.

This happens because we were all the time dealing with our spirit, consciousness existing in heart. Anything that relates to our true inner self has to be peaceful. Reason being everything is connected to state of mind. Indulgence in Bhagavad Gita, practice of spirituality results in human beings scaling higher levels of consciousness every single time!

From six years of age my indulgence with spirituality was at its peak. From that tender age I experienced bouts of inner calm, extreme happiness that I could never recount in words. All spiritual experiences always are unique, could never be explained and just occurred. Bhagavad Gita was all about indulgence with God, world of souls’ atmans and this brings a state of peace every single time.

Anything connected to God was always overwhelming. The more we indulged in spirituality, contents of Bhagavad Gita, we wanted more and more. The spiritual journey was practically unstoppable. Prime reason why spiritual journey must be undertaken with caution as chances of returning back to material mode of life were practically nil! While indulging in Bhagavad Gita one always experienced inner calm but externally there could be an unexpected furore in the family.

Indulgence in Bhagavad Gita can never be appreciated by others in the family. Reason is simple, journey of spirituality is covered establishing total control over five senses and mind and in those moments we try cutting all bondages of earthly life in stages. For a serious seeker, traveler of spiritual path there was nothing like a family as the whole world becomes one large family.

Before indulgence in spirituality or Bhagavad Gita we must decide once and for all what we really wanted in life… inner peace or external visible calm in the family. We just could not maintain both simultaneously as all family ties would be permanently cut one day. All bondages, earthly ties finally come to naught for a traveler of spiritual path. One practically becomes a Swami Vivekananda, a great practitioner of Brahmacharya Vrata.

On path of pure spirituality, there is always 100% guarantee of inner calm. And making a delicate balance between inner and external life is something difficult to handle. Even people of the stature of Swami Vivekananda would fail on this front, prime reason why Swami Vivekananda did not marry. Siddhartha Gautama just by touching feet of wife and child thought he was absolved of all karma permanently but the reality was not so.

Karma is never burnt that way. For the doings of Siddhartha Gautama his family suffered badly. This happens in most spiritual cases, where those abandoned always badly suffered.

Journey of spirituality always brings inner calm into life of a seeker but what of the family dependent on one? Lord Krishna in Bhagavad Gita states one must amicably complete all family responsibilities before indulging in spirituality. We just could not abandon the family midway. So was not permitted by God.

Despite indulgence in spirituality and Bhagavad Gita if a seeker does not experience inner calm, mental peace then something is amiss. Either we were not doing it properly or doing nothing at all.

All doubts relating to mental peace while indulging in Bhagavad Gita must be put to rest as every single bout of spiritual awakening is always followed by varying durations of inner calm mental peace, state of total ecstasy bliss.

I indulged in pure spirituality from six years of age. Even at that tender age I experienced bouts of inner calm, peace sometimes continuing for days. Whenever I tried to explain such mental states to my mother, she just could not understand anything. All such experiences were always confined to the individual self as those who had not yet experienced it, were aloof to such happenings.

There is abundance of mental peace while indulging in Gita, path of spirituality but the calm within the family almost disappeared, prime reason why spiritual journey must be covered with caution.

Something that resulted in inner calm, mental peace was the reason that dross impurities within our soul atman were getting removed, the clutter within our brain was lessening day by day.
