Kundalini awakening must always be attempted without a guru. For full kundalini awakening a guru was never necessitated. If we correctly understand the meaning and purport of kundalini, we would never seek a guru ever for full awakening of kundalini shakti, the coiled Serpentine energy lying dormant in base of spine.
Kundalini awakening also can never be indulged collectively; it can only be done in isolation.
Kundalini is awakened in stages by practicing absolute celibacy (eradicating flow of negative thoughts to our brain in totality is what absolute celibacy all about). How many people world over correctly understood meaning of absolute celibacy and rightly practiced it?
Hardly anyone! Prime reason why in the last about 150 years amongst 7000 million people existing world over only Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa and Maharshi Ramana finally succeeded in full awakening of kundalini shakti to reach God in their lifetime.
Full kundalini awakening means becoming an enlightened one that very moment. Full kundalini awakening means reaching state of Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ or Prophet Mohammed that very moment. Full kundalini awakening is no joke and is not that easily achieved.
Many people in this world preached otherwise, people having purely commercial aspirations.
Practice of absolute celibacy can be realized only in isolation. Practice of absolute celibacy demands indulgence in contemplation (chintan) to realize hidden abstract meanings of sacred texts contained in Bhagavad Gita. The jnana wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita is necessitated to cut darkness of ignorance, stop invocation of negative thoughts to our brain in totality.
Truthfully full kundalini awakening is not one lifetime job. Even Swami Vivekananda did not realize full kundalini awakening because he never wanted to. His goal of life was different for which he was admonished by his guru Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa. When Swami Vivekananda approached Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa he only wanted to confirm presence of God Almighty, nothing more.
Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa felt disturbed and asked Swami Vivekananda why he had come to him if the goal of his life is not reaching God, Swami Vivekananda politely replied he only wanted to affirm presence of God, nothing more.
If spiritual stalwarts like Swami Vivekananda did not compete kundalini awakening we can realize for ourselves the pitfalls in path of kundalini awakening.
