Difference between Moksha and Enlightenment

Going by Hindu tradition the end goal of human life is reaching state of enlightenment. This simply means, we as a soul atman caning absolute purity forever! Liberated from cycle of birth and death forever, we as a soul atman would not manifest a body on mother earth again. As the cosmic journey of life for soul atman completes forever, after death of mortal frame it attains state of moksha salvation.

Moksha is the state in the life of a soul atman when it becomes free from all attachments forever. A liberated soul freed from bondage of solar system can now venture into any part of cosmos at will. Until human beings reached stage of enlightenment, the soul atman remained bonded to solar system. After death of mortal body it would again manifest a new body to cleanse itself of dross impurities within.

Enlightenment announces ceasing of life journey for soul atman within forever.

Goal of human life always was reaching state of enlightenment and never moksha salvation. Once we reached state of enlightenment, moksha salvation automatically followed.

The soul atman of Mahavira, Gautama Buddha, Jesus Christ and Prophet Mohammed after deliberating self from cycle of birth and death forever can venture into any part of cosmos at will. These liberated souls do exist in cosmic system even now and their powers can be invoked by seekers by indulging in proper prayers.

When I wanted to clarify something regarding Bhagavan Parshvanatha (23rd Tirthankara of Jainism, preceptor), this soul atman in energy form immediately precipitated before me and I got the answers of my queries. In my spiritual travail I was habituated to talk to Lord Krishna and all other enlightened souls right from Mahavira, Gautama Buddha etc.

For doing so we needed to go to the mental wavelength on which resided these enlightened souls. No sooner that happened one could easily talk to these souls on one-to-one basis all the time.

Moksha in the life of souls’ atmans is the state when it rejoins God Almighty permanently.

To understand precept of enlightenment and then moksha our indulgence in scriptures of Hinduism like Bhagavad Gita and Upanishads (independent spiritual treatises) was necessitated. To gain enlightenment and finally moksha our indulgence in spirituality as detailed in Bhagavad Gita was necessitated. Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa did it and so did Maharishi Ramana.
