Spirituality and the Mind

Spirituality directly relates to mind, not the human mind! The fact is in entire world no human being ever had an independent mind. All had a brain that works like a receiving and transmitting station.

The mind of entire cosmos is one having two compartments. The reservoir of mind plus and mind minus. From reservoir of mind plus flowed all positive thoughts invoked by human beings and from reservoir of mind minus, all negative thoughts.

When we indulged in spirituality we connected to this universal mind. Those with a sunny disposition and godly thinking always invoked positive thoughts from reservoir of mind plus. Those indulging in vice mostly invoked negative thoughts from reservoir of mind minus!

The invocation of thoughts positive or negative is totally dependent on the individual.

Spirituality was all about curtailing the flow of thoughts in totality whether positive or negative. When not a single thought entered our brain one reaches state of Nirvikalpa Samadhi (absolute nothingness). This is what is sought by seekers, state of absolute nothingness.

Demolishing ego in totality, practicing absolute celibacy for a minimum period of 12 years in continuation human beings finally succeed establishing control over five senses and mind in stages. Control over mind means reaching state of Nirvikalpa Samadhi, when not a single thought entered our brain uninvoked. One immediately gains enlightenment, becomes a bodhi, a Jina.

For reaching state of no thoughts, indulgence in contemplation (chintan) is required. Only then we can cut across darkness of ignorance. Assimilating jnana wisdom contained in Bhagavad Gita is necessitated not to gain any wisdom but to cut darkness of ignorance forever.

A seeker who finally connects with universal mind but invoked zero thoughts also reaches God.
